Sales Planning – Book/Bill report for 12, 18, 24 or 36 mo.
Sales Planning is easier with the SmartFunnel 2.0 online table of revenue projections. Select 12, 18, 24 or 36 months. Are you moving to more recurring revenue? Then this report is for you. It uses SmartFunnel’s ability to capture Book and Billing estimates for each opportunity (“Deal”). See your Deal data for various Billing types (e.g. one time billing, or monthly recurring services, subscriptions, or training programs). Rapidly assess future revenues, with Book and Bill numbers in the “Sales Planning” table.

See your monthly revenue projections online, for the next few quarters or the next few years. Start date can be selected by a filter, as well as duration of 12, 18, 24, or 36 months. In addition, the values can be viewed as gross opportunity value, or weighted value. This is a big help in assessing sales progress. For high touch, high value situations, you can identify dates to propose and close renewals or extensions. Refine the report offline for a specific presentation, using the “Export to Excel” button.
Filters allow you to select data by region or by sales person. In addition, you can filter out the data by a Deal Type (which may be a product line). Even Bill Type can be filtered. For example select Bill Type MRR (Monthly Recurring Revenue) or Services – something your CFO will enjoy.
Sort by various columns is available, as well as a double sort on the columns with header in italics. For example sort by Owner column, then by Stage – see all the Deals handled by a given sales person grouped together, within each Stage. Update Deal data for selected fields directly within the Sales Planning table. Update can be done on the shaded columns. For example, update Deal Stage without having to open the Deal record, and add a short revision message, in the “Rev Msg” column. This helps managers and other viewers see what has changed.
